Durability and Breakage Resistance

All Spiegelau glassware is made from lead-free crystal glass. This is important, as the mineral content in crystal glass makes the glass stronger, and therefore is able to be made into finer glasses whilst be resistant to breakage.

Dishwasher Safe

Spiegelau use a platinum glass process to make glasses that eliminates impurities, imperfections and inconsistencies. This means the glasses are durable and retain their appearance in use. They are rated dishwasher safe after being independently tested on 1500 dishwasher cycles. Due to this process, Spiegelau glasses retain their brightness and appearance throughout their lifetime.
